1960s car with 1990 bumpers and a 190hp V8. I’ll pass.

These pictures are great, because you can pretend that the front is not as terrible as it actually is.

Still, 10/10, I’d daily it into the ground.

I can get on board with this.

All of them legal for Canadian export now and American export by 2020.

I’ve found 26 for sale in the U.K. and abroad.

It baffles me how expensive those things are. Instead of paying £20,000 just buy an old MGB and put a Rover V8 in it. It can literally be done for a 1/5 of the cost.

Could be worse. Could be a 1960s car with 1970s bumpers and a 390hp V8.

1970s bumpers are worst bumpers, but 390hp sounds better than 190.

I thought this was a modified Miata at first.

Not if those 390hp include leaf springs and drum brakes.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Something about a British sports car with a V8 and copious amounts of leather and wood just gives my (as James May would say) “the fizz”.

LOL, on the RV8's wiki page - “ Largely due to the rear drum brakes and rear leaf springs, the RV8 was not popular with road testers at the time.”

I’ll take rear drums and leafs in the 70s, not in the 90s.
